Designed for a medium to large breed dog, this 6 strand braid is over a 2mm 550# Dacron core.
Currently unfinished, but able to finish to your desired length, including any size handle (up to 42"). Choose from tassel handle, thumb loop, or hand loop (round or flat braided). This lead has finished dog end which is a braided loop for your collar or chain.
**Please include at note at checkout for your overall lead length. This should be the straight length from end to end and not include the turn-backs for loops. I will confirm with you before completing and this will ship within 48 hours of purchase and confirmation.
6 strand (3mm kangaroo leather) in all black. Decorative beads by the glass artist Bobbie Wilhelm are set in silver hardware and crystals, placed at 6" to 8" from the collar loop end. Hand tied blue pineapple decorative knots will be at at both ends (only one pictured).
Leather has been split, beveled, stretched, conditioned and rolled for a buttery soft feel.

Shipping of premade items is within 24 hours with tracking.
Purchases of glass beads only will be considered a reserve of beads for use on custom crafted leads within 3 months. You will be contacted regarding the specifics for your lead order. If no agreement is reached, your bead purchase will be refunded in full. Beads are not shipped out separately.

Included with your first leather show lead order you'll find a container of leather conditioner. Use sparingly, as needed. For more information on how to care for leather visit Caring for your leather.
Glass Beads Care:
We use only kiln annealed glass beads and those which have the proper thickness for the size of hole. This ensures their strength and integrity are optimal. You do not have to be overly cautious but it does not mean unbreakable.
Take care of your glass as you would any glass item. Store your lead in the bag it came in or in a cloth bag and clean glass with a damp cloth if needed. Leather conditioner is not for use on glass beads or their settings.
