Gun Dog
Gun Dog
Beads may be purchased for reserve, but are not for individual sale. These are listed at my cost, for use in leather crafted products only.
This bead is a bronze colored metal craft. Leather hand tied knots or glass beads and crystals look great to design this into a focal bead setting or use individually to add a single decorative setting, in addition to your focal glass beads set.
Golden/Copper or Golden only options.- Add note of preference at checkout
*Please Note: This is not a live round, but it is a bullet casing which has been smoothed and remains hollow for the intended use of creating a show lead or grooming loop for a Gun Dog.
Gun dogs, or bird dogs, are types of hunting dogs developed to assist hunters in finding and retrieving game. The term hunting dog is broad and includes all breeds and skills of hunting canines, but "gun dogs" refers to canines that are trained to work alongside a loud firearm while hunting or retrieving game.
This stunning set will be matched with crystals, and/or decorative side beads, as well as silver, gold, antique silver/gold, bronze, gunmetal or rose gold, etc. spacers. An example setting is shown in the video.
Beads are for use on Show Leads and NOT for individual sale. Toy breeds may be unable to use an entire set of glass beads. We are careful to ensure balance and function are not jeopardized.

Care Instructions
Care Instructions
Included with each show lead order you'll find a container of leather conditioner. Use sparingly, as needed. For more information on how to care for leather visit Caring for your leather.
Glass Beads Care:
We use only kiln annealed glass beads and those which have the proper thickness for the size of hole. This ensures their strength and integrity are optimal. You do not have to be overly cautious but it does not mean unbreakable.
Take care of your glass as you would any glass item. Store your lead in the bag it came in or in a cloth bag and clean glass with a damp cloth if needed. Leather conditioner is not for use on glass beads or their settings.
