This item is priced per strand. A 4 strand braid of all Rose Gold Foil would add a quantity of 4 strands.
Ex: A 42" overall lead length in all Rose Gold Foil would require a quantity of 4 at $26.00 each.
If you are using other leather colors in your lead and only want one to be in this color you would add 1 strand here and then add the others of each color, etc.

Kangaroo Leather is 'weight for weight' the strongest and lightest natural leather available. Kangaroo leather is the preferred leather exhibitors want for their leads. It is naturally thin, very soft and supple, while providing ultimate strength and durability. We braid over a Dacron core for added strength and to reduce stretch.
The leather we use is imported from Australia and is a product of their culling program. Derived from only 4 of the 53 species and from animals living in the wild, to ensure that no natural habitat is cleared and no detrimental impact on the kangaroos or their ecosystems is made. The leather used is a byproduct from the food industry and using it rather than discarding reduces environmental impact.
Australia's government oversight of this program ensures the most humane practices have been followed. Over 40 years of studies indicate this culling program has not harmed the species, but has instead helped it to thrive. With a current population well over 30 million the kangaroo is considered abundant and not endangered. Kangaroo leather is a renewable natural resource that is sustainable over long term and a green alternative to other leathers.

Shipping of premade items is within 24 hours with tracking.
Purchases of glass beads only will be considered a reserve of beads for use on custom crafted leads within 3 months. You will be contacted regarding the specifics for your lead order. If no agreement is reached, your bead purchase will be refunded in full. Beads are not shipped out separately.

Included with each show lead order you'll find a container of leather conditioner. Use sparingly, as needed. For more information on how to care for leather visit Caring for your leather.
Glass Beads Care:
We use only kiln annealed glass beads and those which have the proper thickness for the size of hole. This ensures their strength and integrity are optimal. You do not have to be overly cautious but it does not mean unbreakable.
Take care of your glass as you would any glass item. Store your lead in the bag it came in or in a cloth bag and clean glass with a damp cloth if needed. Leather conditioner is not for use on glass beads or their settings.
